had a nice day out in croft castle, the house was very impressive and we really enjoyed it. cafe was good too offering a nice selection of cakes staff were very friendly and knowledgableFull review by Roy1237

No you don't have to pay for dogs,there were lots of people walking their dogsx

No specific play area of any size although there where some items adjacent to the cafe. The grounds are large for kids to run free and there where plenty of kids there on the day we visited. Essentially this is an old stately home, to make the most of it you need to visit inside, which may not be most suited to under 10s. Enjoy if you do go.
