I was 11 years old in 1963; an impressionable little girl that was caught in one of America's most historical events. My brothers, Hal, age 10, and Mike, age 6, and I always went to my grandparents home after school. It was a time to do homework and wait till mother picked us up after work. That's why we knew Mr. Lee and most of the other roomers that lived at 1026 N. Beckley Ave. Over the years I realized that there was much more to this case than the world knew. I have a unique perspective to the JFK Assassination story. This house is my inheritance and legacy. I am determined to honor the history of my family. Now, I'm the last of my family that can say "I knew and remember the man known as Lee Harvey Oswald".

Questions & answers

Q:
Is it possible to book the room for a night?
A:
No, it's the person's house so it's not like a hotel. They rent rooms but like bedsits.

Q:
Can you take photos inside?
A:
Yes, but you have to have a person in all the photos. You are not permitted to take photos of furniture without a person in the shot. Weird reasoning, if you ask me
