This is our second time coming!! This rescue zoo is the cutest little gem of Luray. My kids love it just as much. Being able to see the reptiles up close, and getting to see all the different types. … Full review by Taylor C

Zoo is not well maintained. Water for animals is dirty. Animal’s fur is also really dirty. The reptile room is too dark to see anything. Full review by GoPlaces08729982459

There may be a picnic table outside the building. I can not remember. Call them and ask. Luray Caverns is right across from there- less than a mile and there are a couple of seating areas outside the museum (opposite side of Luray Caverns parking lot). You don't have to pay to park-only to go inside/tour (however, there are several things there at Luray to do if you choose :)).

There is a portion of the zoo where you can feed and pet some sheep and goats. If you are interested in interactions with more of the animals the after hours guided tour with the owners is great. I don't think they recommend this for visitors with small children though.
