Two fans died and a police officer is in a coma after celebrations for Paris-Saint Germain's historic Champions League victory, European soccer's biggest prize, authorities say.

“Paris Saint-Germain condemns in the strongest possible terms the violence that occurred during the celebrations,” PSG wrote on social media on Sunday afternoon, with their players having flown back to Paris from Munich with the Champions League trophy ahead of their open-top bus parade.

More than 200 cars were reportedly torched and police clashed with youths as fans gathered to celebrate Paris Saint Germain’s (PSG) historic win in the Champions League final.
