President Donald Trump is asking a federal court in Florida to compel media mogul Rupert Murdoch to give a deposition in the president's lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal within 15 days.

Donald Trump on Monday asked a U.S. court to order a swift deposition for billionaire Rupert Murdoch in the U.S. president's defamation lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal over its July 17 article asserting Trump's name was on a 2003 birthday greeting for the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

President Donald Trump asked for owner and founder of News Corp. Rupert Murdoch to be deposed as soon as possible in the ongoing lawsuit between Trump and the Wall Street Journal.
