NEW YORK — Thumbs up for Jasson Domínguez. After sitting out for a few games with a left thumb contusion — an injury the Yankees’ young outfielder suffered on Sunday night in Los Angeles — Domínguez is clear to return to the team’s starting lineup on Thursday night.

Jasson Domínguez was on the Yankees’ bench yet again Wednesday against the Guardians, but that won’t be the case for much longer.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone gave an update on Jasson Dominguez and spoke about how Fernando Cruz looked in his return from the IL on Wednesday.
