Vice President JD Vance said he doesn't believe Joe Biden "was in good enough health" to serve as president following his cancer diagnosis on Sunday.

President Trump said Monday that he was surprised that Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s cancer diagnosis was not made public a “long time ago,” seeming to suggest without evidence that the former president’s cancer was not newly discovered and had been covered up.

In a rambling response to a reporter’s question at a law enforcement event at the White House, Trump suggested that Biden hid his cancer diagnosis while he was in office, playing into unverified conspiracies that have come out since Biden’s announcement on Sunday that he has an aggressive form of the disease for which there’s no cure.

On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” the statement from Biden’s office said.
