Boston Red Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet has pitched seven no-hit innings against the Chicago White Sox in his first game against his former team.

Garrett Crochet allowed one run on one hit in 7 1/3 innings and Trevor Story homered and drove in three runs to help the visiting Boston Red Sox defeat the Chicago White Sox 3-1 on Sunday.

In his Fenway Park debut, Garrett Crochet had a chilly reception — thanks to the weather. In frigid, windy conditions, Crochet’s first pitch crossed the plate with a game-time temperature of 35 degrees and a 23-degree wind chill.
