The Lions were improved in attack as they ran in five tries and had three more over the line not given, but were plagued by more breakdown struggles and a high penalty count, plus further handling errors and an injury to Blair Kinghorn.
The British and Irish Lions outscored the ACT Brumbies five tries to four in Canberra in their fourth straight victory on Australian soil. In an at times excellent - and at other times troubling - performance, the tourists made their now customary slow start, conceding early to Brumbies back-row Tuaina Taii Tualima.
