Week 2 of training camp is underway across the NFL. For some teams, this is when the action truly begins to distinguish itself from the prior offseason workouts as they now transition to padded practices.

The Cowboys welcomed the return of starting right tackle Terence Steele to the first team on Monday, but lost left tackle Tyler Guyton toward the back end of practice. The team also didn’t have backup guard Rob Jones, who is out two to three months with a broken bone in his neck.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, starting left tackle Tyler Guyton is feared to have torn his ACL during Monday’s practice in Oxnard. Guyton went down toward the end of Monday’s practice, needing help to get off the field.

The Cowboys needed a couple first rounders to step up in training camp and so far, Kaiir Elam and Tyler Guyton have done their part.
