"The Crown" actor Bertie Carvel and "The IT Crowd" alum Katherine Parkinson have joined the cast of HBO's "Harry Potter" series. The network announced casting for Molly Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Cornelius Fudge and more.

The cast includes (from left to right in the photo below) Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy, Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy, Leo Earley as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown, Bel Powley as Petunia Dursley, Daniel Rigby as Vernon Dursley and Bertie Carvel as Cornelius Fudge.

Potterheads had been speculating that Tom Felton would be returning to the Wizarding World to play Lucius Malfoy, with him recently breaking his silence on the controversy surrounding JK Rowling. However, it seems those wishes from fans have been unanswered as a different British actor has been confirmed for the role in the Harry Potter series.
