Damian Lillard has torn his Achilles tendon in his left leg. An MRI confirmed the Bucks’ worst fears on Monday morning, a day after Milwaukee went down 3-1 in their first round series against the Pacers following Lillard’s injury.

Fans were heartbroken by Lillard's injury, knowing what the Bucks star overcame to return to the playoff series after missing the final 14 regular season games with deep vein thrombosis in his right leg. After the contest, Lillard's teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo shared an inspiring message for the nine-time All-Star.

Lillard, who had just returned from a blood clot in his calf, collapsed while chasing an offensive rebound. He immediately grabbed his left calf and Achilles area. Helped off the floor by Bucks coach and staff, Lillard couldn't put any weight on his left leg.
