Google is reportedly bringing back an important Google Photos sharing feature after suddenly removing it without warning last year. This removal has left some users frustrated at the inability to easily share certain photos and videos using Partner Sharing, especially images taken with external cameras or created in other apps.

Following last year's rollout of Profile Discovery, Google Messages is again letting you manually choose the picture you want for contacts.

Google rolled out "profile sharing" in Messages. This well-meaning feature was supposed to make things easier for everyone by automatically using people's Google Account pictures in the app instead of using the contact photo you may have chosen for that contact prior.
