The NBA suspended Houston Rockets forward Dillon Brooks one game for picking up his 16th technical foul of the season after he appeared to kick Utah's Collin Sexton in the midsection.

The NBA did not rescind the technical foul given to Houston's Dillon Brooks on Wednesday, resulting in an automatic one-game ban for his 16th tech of the season.

The referees whistled Brooks for the foul after he kicked Jazz guard Collin Sexton on his follow-through after Sexton stripped the ball as he was readying to shoot. It sounds like Brooks expected the NBA to rescind the technical.
