Veteran running back Nick Chubb officially has his new home in Houston. Chubb passed his physical and signed a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Texans, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Nick Chubb had become arguably the Cleveland Browns' most beloved player since Bernie Kosar since arriving in 2018. Much like the famed quarterback of the 1980s and early 1990s, the running back's time in the NFL will end elsewhere.

Houston will sign former Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb to a one-year contract if Chubb passes his physical with the Texans on Monday, per multiple reports. Chubb, 29, missed most of 2023 after a season-ending injury in Week 2, and he logged just eight games last season before a broken foot ended his season in Week 15.
