Former U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan, a Democrat who represented two different Minnesota districts during two separate stints in office three decades apart, has died

Former Minnesota Congressman Rick Nolan died at the age of 80 after representing Minnesota's 8th Congressional District in the U.S. Congress from 2013 to 2019 and the state's 6th Congressional District from 1975 to 1981.

Former U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan won the northeastern Minnesota seat in 2012 and followed with two tricky re-election campaigns, He had served earlier in Congress and the Minnesota House.
