Jerry Powell began the day in his Berkeley home the same way he always does, getting out of bed, putting on the coffee, and heading to the backyard to look for bugs.

Jerry was born February 26th, 1948 in Huntsville, Ark., to Merle and Berth Powell. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Don Powell and JR Powell, a sister, Lois Satterfield.
