Mourners at the funeral of singer Linda Nolan have been told she would have “loved all the fuss”, by her sister Denise Nolan-Anderson. The singer’s pink sparkly coffin was carried from St Paul’s Church in Blackpool to applause from members of the public who had lined the streets while To Where You Are by Josh Groban was played.

Family, friends and fans have turned out for the funeral of singer Linda Nolan. A memorial for the Dublin-born star started at 10:30 GMT at St Paul's Church, Blackpool, where she also got married to her husband of two decades Brian Hudson.
