Longmeadow Public Schools will host an information session for parents, caregivers and staff with local and federal law enforcement Thursday evening, a day after a librarian who worked at two middle schools in the district was arrested.

In a public letter shared with 22News, Thomas M. King, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Children’s Alliance and Longmeadow resident, called the case “troubling and deeply upsetting.” He emphasized that protecting children begins with reporting suspected abuse.
