The results of the 2025 Primary Election are in, for the most part, after a hectic election season and a sweltering Election Day. A heated mayoral primary and dozens of local races drew significant voter turnout across the five boroughs.

In order to vote in the primary, you must be registered as either a Democrat or Republican. The Democratic ballot includes citywide elections for public advocate and comptroller. Some districts will also vote for borough president, City Council, district attorney, supreme court and civil judges.
