Minneapolis Police Department officers found a male teenager who had been shot outside of the Fourth Precinct building with apparent life-threatening injuries. He was shot once from a moving car.

Police say officers at the Minneapolis Police Department's Fourth Precinct heard gunfire coming from outside the building around 12:37 p.m.

A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured in a shooting in front of the Fourth Precinct headquarters in north Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon. At 12:37 p.m., officers heard shots outside the building, located in the 2000 block of Plymouth Ave.

A youth was struck by gunfire outside the Minneapolis Police's Fourth Precinct; the precinct sustained damage, but no arrests yet.

A teen was seriously hurt in a brazen drive-by shooting outside a Minneapolis police precinct on Sunday afternoon.

Officers attempted lifesaving care, including CPR and a chest seal, but the boy died in the home. In a press release, Minneapolis police said they believe the teen was outside the residence with others when shots were fired. He ran into the home and collapsed, police added.

An investigation underway after a shooting Sunday afternoon outside of a Minneapolis Police station. So far, there are no arrests. There’s also no update on the condition of the victim or his identification.

NPD says officers were dispatched around 7 p.m. Sunday to the 700 block of Church Street, close to Brambleton Avenue for a report of a gunshot.
