The Braves have to find a long-term answer at shortstop. Orlando Arcia was an amazing story in 2023, going from losing his job in Milwaukee to being traded and turning into an All-Star for the Braves.

The Brewers were one of the biggest surprises in baseball this season, and Adames' offensive outburst is a major reason why. Adames had career-highs with 32 home runs, 112 RBI, 33 doubles and 21 steals while playing plus-defense at shortstop.

The Dodgers are expected to pursue shortstop Willy Adames in free agency and are viewed around the league as favorites to sign him, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post. Adames is expected to command as much as $200 million on the open market and could also draw interest from the Atlanta Braves and San Francisco Giants.
