Months after the storm devastated Western North Carolina, the state has released the official list of names of those who died.

North Carolina officials are sharing a comprehensive list of the names of those confirmed killed in Hurricane Helene for the first time since the storm ravaged parts of the state. Hundreds of people died across multiple states in the late September 2024 storm -- including at least 104 people in North Carolina alone.
