Two years after acquiring the veteran point guard from Portland, Boston agrees to a deal to send him back in return for young guard Anfernee Simons.

The two-time NBA champion could help elevate the Blazers back into the postseason following a four-year absence.

The Portland Trail Blazers traded away guard Anfernee Simons to the Boston Celtics on Monday in exchange for veteran guard Jrue Holiday. Holiday had been on the trade block for some time since the Celtics needed to shed salary this offseason.
