City sanitation workers in Philadelphia have been on strike for over a week as trash overflows at dropoff locations around the city. Residents have expressed their frustration as the mayor and union failed to reach an agreement over the weekend.

Trash continues to pile up along Philadelphia’s streets as a union strike by sanitation workers and other municipal employees enters its eighth day, following failed negotiations with the city for higher wages.
