Donald Glover, the hip hop artist better known as Childish Gambino, has revealed that he recently suffered a stroke. Last autumn Glover was supposed to have gone an extensive tour to support his 2024 album Bando Stone & The New World but he ended up cancelling, citing ‘health concerns’ and explaining that he had scheduled surgery.

Donald Glover’s last concert as Childish Gambino in over a year was at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, and he revealed over the weekend that he cancelled the rest of his concert stops after suffering a stroke.

"The first thing I thought was, 'Oh, here I am still copying Jamie Foxx,'" Glover joked while recalling the 2024 incident at a performance over the weekend.
