"The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Texas Rangers and the Olmos Park Police Department are ending their search for Suzanne Clark Simpson at the Tessman Republic Services Landfill," Department of Public Safety Sgt. Deon Cockrell said in a statement on Thursday evening.

The search for Suzanne Simpson continues after crews scoured through waste at a local landfill the past two days since her disappearance on Sunday, October 6. Investigators said they came up empty but feel confident the mother of four can be found at the Southeast Side site.
