Tropical Storm Oscar is expected to move near the southeastern and central Bahamas Tuesday, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Oscar held on to tropical storm strength overnight, despite the blow dealt by Cuba’s mountains, as it rolled over the Southeastern Bahamas on Tuesday. The storm is expected to drop about 3 to 5 inches of rain on the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos as it crosses the islands.

As Oscar makes its way toward Bermuda, AccuWeather warns that hurricane season isn’t over just yet. Tropical Storm Patty could form next week.
