Kusal Mendis and Kusal Perera scored half-centuries to guide Sri Lanka to a nine-wicket win in the third and final Twenty20 international and clinch their first-ever series victory over the West Indies.

Chasing 163 runs, the West Indies were bowled out for 89 in the 17th over, handing the hosts their largest win by runs against the West Indies.

Kusal Mendis hit an unbeaten 68 to help clinch Sri Lanka's first T20 international series win over the West Indies with a thumping nine-wicket victory in the third and final game on Thursday. The West Indies won the series opener by five wickets and Sri Lanka bounced back with a commanding 73-run victory in the second game.
