Vanderbilt baseball dropped out of the top 10 of the polls after losing a series at Ole Miss. The Commodores (31-13, 12-9 SEC) were ranked in the top 10 for the first time all season a week ago, but they dropped after losing a midweek game to Middle Tennessee and then two of three games to the Rebels (31-13, 12-9).

Connor Fennell threw a shutout as Vanderbilt baseball salvaged the series finale against Ole Miss with a 13-0 win Sunday at Swazye Field. Vanderbilt got off to an early lead with two runs in the first inning and three in the second.
