The couple, Alyssa Kluge and Christopher Dietrick, said that the other dog’s owner was standing on the sidewalk, leaning against a white car, when his dog mauled Dublin.

Kluge added that the pit bull's owner was 'slow to act' and wasn't paying attention before the attack. Dietrick attempted to rescue the poodle but was also bitten by the pit bull.
