CSX freight trains are moving once again through the North Carolina mountains. Helene damaged or destroyed nearly 60 miles of track one year ago.

CSX on Oct. 2 hosted a celebration in Erin, Tenn., for the reopening of the Blue Ridge Subdivision, nearly one year to the day after Hurricane Helene destroyed large portions of the freight line.
