Bill Simmons had an expected reaction to Jayson Tatum’s achilles injury in Game 4 of the Celtics-Knicks series.

The somber atmosphere was about much more than the team falling down 3-1 in their series against the Knicks. Instead, the concern was centered around All-Star Jayson Tatum, who left the game in the fourth quarter with what appeared to be a serious right leg injury.

Tatum had 42 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks in Game 4 before his tendon gave out on him, doing everything possible on both ends of the court to prevent the Celtics from falling into an ominous 3-1 deficit.
