Prasar Bharati has signed a mega deal, possibly its biggest-ever media deal, with veteran editor, journalist and news anchor Sudhir Chaudhary for the much-anticipated revival of Doordarshan.
K Sathish Namboodiripad has been appointed as the Director General of Doordarshan, as per media reports. The appointment is for a term of three years. This can be extended, not exceeding five years.
