An Indianapolis apartment fire displaced 18 people and various pets, leaving no injuries but damaging 12 units.

A fire at the Edison at Meridian Hills apartment complex on the north side of Indianapolis early Monday morning resulted in 20 people and over a dozen pets being safe, with 13 adults, five children, and a turtle displaced.

The Fire Department battled an apartment fire that displaced 18 people and multiple animals early Monday morning.
