Millions of Americans live in areas under winter storm alerts stretching from northern Minnesota to the Eastern Seaboard.

(WLUK) -- Winter Storm Diego remains on track Sunday evening with rain and wintry mix switching over to snow after 6 PM Sunday. By 9 PM, all precipitation will be falling as snow, and remain widespread across Northeast Wisconsin through Monday morning. This winter storm system will bring major impacts after midnight and Monday.

On Wednesday at 9:02 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter storm watch valid from Friday 1 p.m. until Saturday noon for Northern Wayne and Southern Wayne as well as Susquehanna, Lackawanna and Pike counties.
