After falling short in its two appearances in the four-team era, Notre Dame christened the 12-team College Football Playoff with a win in its home stadium over in-state rival Indiana in a revival of a series that had been dormant since 1991.

The Irish official social media account shared the actual jersey’s that Notre Dame will don in just a few nights, a dark blue with gold lettering piping around while numbers, all-gold names and captain insignias with gold pants, a first-round College Football Playoff patch and the traditional gold helmets.

Notre Dame sophomore running back Jeremiyah Love turned on the jets to start the expanded College Football Playoff.
