I couldn't help noticing the Exploits on OSX thread. While I don't think OS X imune against viruses or hacking I don't believe that both OS are equally easy or hard to exploit or hack.
I've been using OS X almost exclusively for the last 10 years. When I shut the lid, the laptop sleeps, and when I open the lid, it wakes from sleep and reconnects to the last connected WiFi network.
