An 18-year-old young man from Pittsburgh was killed and nine others were injured after a massive pileup on Interstate 79​.

At least one person has died in an 18-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 in Butler County, Pennsylvania State Police said Friday.

I-79 in Butler County was closed due to a multi-vehicle crash causing fatalities and investigations are ongoing.

Pennsylvania State Police said several crashes occurred on Interstate 79 in the area of the Evans City and Zelienople exits.
