Suga, a rapper and songwriter in the global K-pop sensation BTS, has been discharged from South Korea’s mandatory military service, marking the official return of all seven members from their enlistment duties.

BTS member Suga aka Min Yoongi got discharged from the military on June 21. As the 32-year-old joins bandmates Jungkook, V, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope and RM, it marks the official end of their enlistment chapter,

In August 2024, Suga landed into controversy when it was revealed that he was involved in a drunk driving case while riding an e-scooter. He was taken to the police station and was tested for alcohol. Reportedly, his blood alcohol level was 0.227%, due to which his licence was revoked.
