On May 17, Mesa officers responded to a home and found Hazel Benson ’s 38-year-old son shot in the stomach before he was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police told KTAR News. Benson told officers she was angry with her son over his video games being too loud, police told KSAZ.

One person was killed in an east Charlotte shooting on Sunday morning, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. The shooting happened in the 100 block of Winding Path Way near Seigle Point Dr.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person was killed in an early morning shooting near Uptown, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Around 3 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 100 block of Winding Path Way near East 10th Street. When police arrived, they located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
