A boat captain already facing state charges after a deadly parasailing accident in the Florida Keys is now in federal legal peril more than three years later.

The captain of a boat involved in a parasailing crash in Florida that killed a mother on Memorial Day in 2022 is now facing a federal charge.

Alaparthi is now suing captain Daniel Couch, another crew member, the boat company and the marina in connection to Supraja's death, according to WAMQ-TV and The Washington Post.
