Regina Ventura, the mother of Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura Fine, told the court on May 20 she was "physically sick" over the rapper's alleged abuse and said she was once pressured to send him $20,000 after he raged at her daughter. "I was scared for my daughter’s safety," Ventura told jurors.

Prosecutors said they planned on calling Regina Ventura after David James, Diddy’s personal assistant from 2007 to 2009, is done testifying.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted, he could serve up to life in prison. He has pleaded not guilty.
