The pitcher who left with an injury in the seventh inning of Wednesday's game in New York, shortly after he lost a no-hitter, updated his status while speaking to reporters after the game.

Moments after losing a no-hit bid in the seventh inning, San Diego Padres pitcher Dylan Cease left his start against the New York Yankees with an apparent injury.

The contest dragged into extras. In the top of the 10th, the Padres failed to score despite having an automatic runner on second base and the top of their lineup up to bat. In the bottom of the 10th, the bottom of the Yankees’ order delivered a sacrifice bunt and then a walk-off sacrifice fly.
