Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that the seat-sharing agreement for the ruling Mahayuti coalition in the upcoming November 20 state elections will be revealed within the next couple of days,

Mumbai: Just when it seemed that the Mahayvuti was in cruise mode, there has arisen a sudden, vociferous demand by the Shiv Sena to project Chiel Minister Eknath Shinde as the CM face in the upcoming state assembly election.

During the rally on Friday, Shinde Sena MLAs voiced their support for Eknath Shinde as the chief ministerial candidate, a sentiment that was enthusiastically welcomed by the party workers.

The upcoming assembly election in Maharashtra is the state’s first since the Shiv Sena split in 2022.
