Fox Sports laid off anchor Joy Taylor on Monday months after she was named in a sexual-battery lawsuit. Taylor had co-hosted the show Speak on its cable network, FS1, alongside former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson and former NBA player Paul Pierce since 2022.
Marcellus Wiley also claimed that had Taylor and Acho been co-hosting Speak as they were in the past, they might not have been sacked. But with each having their own show, the network had no choice but to make the move. He touted its flailing success in comparison to Colin Cowherd's First Things First, which could have been a contributing factor.
