Thousands of runners from across the country gathered in downtown Hartford Saturday morning for the 2024 Eversource Hartford Marathon. This is the 31st year of the marathon which consists of a 5K, a marathon and a half-marathon designed for runners of all skill levels.

The Eversource Hartford Marathon (and accompanying half marathon, 5K and marathon relay) will take place Saturday starting at 8 a.m. in front of the state Capitol in Hartford and finishing in Bushnell Park.

HARTFORD– Next year, they’ll be husband and wife. On Saturday, they were both winners at the Eversource Hartford Marathon. Alex Nordstrom and Angie Rafter, both Central Connecticut State grads, won the men’s and women’s races on Saturday morning.
