Storm Ashley has wreaked havoc across parts of the country, bringing hurricane-force winds and torrential rain. On0th, Salthill, located on Ireland’s Atlantic coast, bore the full brunt of the storm during high tide.

Parts of Northern Ireland could face disruption on Sunday as a result of Storm Ashley. The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for wind for the whole of Northern Ireland, which came into effect at 03:00 BST and lasts until midnight. Gusts of up to 60mph (100km/h) have been predicted in some inland areas.

Storm Ashley caused parts of the United Kingdom and Ireland to be put under weather warnings over the weekend as the storm brought strong winds and heavy rain.
