U.S. stock indexes were set to open higher on Friday after a strong jobs report calmed worries over the health of the labor market, while Tesla shares rebounded on signs of cooling tensions between CEO Elon Musk and U.

In the bond market, Treasury yields gained ground. The yield on the 10-year Treasury rose to 4.47% from 4.39% late Thursday. The two-year Treasury yield, which more closely tracks traders’ expectations for what the Federal Reserve will do with overnight interest rates, rose to 4.00% from 3.92% late Thursday.

Wall Street is bracing for a series of labor-market data releases this week, including the government’s benchmark reading for May job gains, as investors look through tariff-related headlines and into the true effects of President Donald Trump’s economic strategy.
