Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has said he hopes Mohamed Salah stays at the club, labelling him the best striker they have had in modern times.

Jurgen Klopp is hoping that Mohamed Salah will remain at Liverpool as he branded the 32-year-old the best forward in the club’s modern history. Salah’s present deal expires at the end of the season, and he ramped up the pressure on the Anfield hierarchy with some hard-hitting comments last month.

Liverpool are facing an uncertain future over three of their biggest stars. Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah are all out of contract at the end of the season and so far there has been no breakthrough in any discussion over a new deal.
